WILL BE HIGHLY RECRUITED IN THE COMING YEARS!

Cam possesses tremendous baseball fundamentals whether it’s his footwork, glove, throwing
mechanics or hitting and has a natural feel for the game. He has quick and light feet to go along
with very fast hands. This combination results in him being a very smooth player on the
diamond. He has an edge about him that you recognize quickly when watching how he goes
about preparing and playing the game. He has an inherent penchant to thrive in the biggest
pressure situations as he absolutely lives for those moments. He plays the game with a passion
and enthusiasm that is contagious. It is also easy to see that Cam loves his teammates and is all
about the process of preparing to win. Cam is quick to point out that he has played on 43
championship baseball teams.
Cam has very consistent fundamentals beginning with a toe tap load. He is short to the ball
leading with the bat knob and finishes his swing at a positive vertical angle creating back spin
on the baseball. He utilizes his excellent hand-eye coordination and gets his barrel into the zone

quickly. He has a great understanding of situational hitting and drives the ball to all fields. Cam
is an excellent base runner too whether going from 1 st to 3 rd , 2 nd to home, stealing a base or just
his global awareness. As a shortstop, he is fundamentally pure. He has tremendous range,
wonderful footwork and a deadly accurate arm. His funneling of the ball going from into the
glove to exit is flawless and efficient resulting in a lightning quick release. He starts and turns
double plays smooth and efficiently. His range on chasing popups down the leftfield line or
behind second base is also very impressive. He evaluates hitters, their foot speed and how his
Pitchers are pitching to them prior to each pitch which often positions him in a great spot to
make a play.
As a pitcher he features a four seam fastball (80-82mph) and sidearm fastball with lots of
movement (78-81 mph) as well as a late action two seam FB. His overhand curveball also has
tight rotation and very good depth from his 11/5 release while his sidearm curve has long 3/9
action. Cam shows a very comprehensive understanding for the art of pitching as he changes
speeds, has great late movement and has full command of the entire strike zone.
