Over these past nine years, my passion and love for football has grown immensely; after the long practices and hard weight room sessions. It has come to my attention that I can’t leave this sport behind as I have become very determined and committed to my team, coaches, and family. Moreover, I have been recognized as a team player and leader.
On the other hand, I take my grades as another priority. I have always reached for excellence. Furthermore, I have a competitive nature on and off the field, as my 4.1 GPA shows my eagerness to learn. Comprehension is another advantage of my game. I understand complex problems and routes, making me a well-rounded student-athlete.
Lastly, I would like to tell you a little bit more about myself. My hobbies include spending time with my family and friends, as those are a big part of my life. Additionally, I like to play Xbox when I am not lifting or doing school work.

Colby is very explosive off the line, which makes covering him a priority. He runs sharp routes and will beat you with his speed. He is a vertical threat and gets up the field in a hurry. He Catches the ball very well whether he is in traffic or open space. Elusive would be the word to describe him all around. Colby makes people miss in open space, which allows him to earn more yards after the catch. He is most dangerous after the catch because he’s tough to bring down.
Additionally, he blocks very well, even if he is on the backside of the play. His footwork allows him to make quick and sharp cuts when running routes. He can run routes from the outside receiver and the inside receiver positions. He is at his best when he has one-on-one coverage and tends to beat the corner with ease.
As a defensive player Colby has excellent footwork and plays physically. He tackles well in space and will shed off blocks to make a tackle. Colby will run with receivers and covers well in zone schemes. He is good at making plays, whether it’s an interception or a pass break up on quick slants and stops. Colby does well at being physical in bump and run coverage. He does not give the receiver cushion to make plays that could extend a drive.
