Yahia Ahmad Said has worked diligently to become the best student-athlete he can possibly be. He has shown that he is willing to work hard not only in the classroom but on the field as well. Yahia is known for his attention to detail and the “all-in” approach he takes with everything he does. We are excited to see how Alex will develop in his upcoming years.
Yahia is a 2016 graduate for East Kentwood High School, located in Kentwood, Michigan. He is a very respectful young man that is admired by all the teachers and the student body.
Helping the community and those less fortunate than him is very important for Yahia. His devotion is evident by the many hours he has devoted to learning and putting new skills to work for his community. When he isn’t in school,on the field, or helping out the community, Yahia loves to watch and analyze soccer games.

Yahia plays the right wing and right back positions. He is a very well rounded athlete with great ball control and an outstanding speed. He provides a wide presence and can easily beat opposing full backs due to his speed and ball control. Yahia paces himself very well and is very comfortable playing the Wing position.
One of the best traits Yahia has is his leadership ability. He has outstanding communication skills with his teammates and he leads his team with discipline and determination. Although he is passionate about his sport, he does not retaliate toward foul play or toward the referees. He’s a great example of a natural leader!
